Book Review: Operation White Christmas by Nicki Edwards ****

UK Publishing Date: 17 Dec 2015. 90 pages

Operation White Christmas is a short but very sweet read and the perfect distraction during the Christmas holidays. Australian Hollie is about to marry her high school sweetheart when she realises that he has been cheating on her and that he wants out. Two months before the wedding and she suddenly finds herself having to cancel everything. When Hollie discovers that the travel agent won’t let her transfer her honeymoon booking she is persuaded to take the trip on her own. To go in search of a perfect White Christmas.

As it is a novella the story gets straight to the point and soon Hollie is experiencing the best and worst of a Canadian winter. The characters are beautifully described and it is a sweet contemporary romance.

This is the third book in the Escape to the Country series but can easily be read as a standalone story without losing anything.

Supplied by Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I love sharing my favourite books with friends - nearly always spoiler-free as I hate reading a synopsis of the whole book in other reviews.
