Book Review: Out Popped My Boob : A True Story – Kelly Roberts ****

If you have an interest in theatre and the performing arts then this is the book for you. Kelly Roberts recounts stories and situations that she encountered during her period when she was auditioning for work in the UK as a stage performer. Some of the stories will have you laughing out loud as Welsh girl Kelly brings her own quirky sense of humour to the proceedings while others will have you curling your toes up and wondering where to look. It is a very irreverent guide to being a jobbing performer in our entertainment industry. A perfect read for any aspiring actress or singer as you’ll soon realise that it isn’t such a glamorous industry after all!

This is a self published novel available via Amazon so ignore the dodgy cover design and dive straight in. Everyone around you will be wondering what is so funny.

UK Publication Date: 2015. 168 pages.

I love sharing my favourite books with friends - nearly always spoiler-free as I hate reading a synopsis of the whole book in other reviews.
