Book Review: Cold Blood – Robert Bryndza ****

The latest instalment of Bryndza’s detective series sees Erika coming to terms with Peterson’s injuries and thinking about her future with the Met. When a suitcase is pulled out of the Thames containing dismembered body parts it becomes clear that there is a brutal killer on the loose in London.

As the investigation links it to a second victim found in similar circumstances Erika knows that she has got a potential serial killer to find.

Pursuing the killer finds Erika in yet another life threatening situation. Can she get out of this one in one piece and save the people that she has grown very fond of.

You realise how invested you are in a character when you sit reading the book wondering how Erika is going to fare after Brexit! This is such a good series with really engaging characters. Surely some tv executive will be signing it up as the next big cop drama series soon?
