Book Review: You Let Me In – Lucy Clarke ****

Elle arrives back at her house by the sea after a writer’s retreat. It is the first time that she has rented out her dream house on Airbnb. Something doesn’t feel quite right about the place since she got home. There is a coldness, a shift in the atmosphere.

Her publisher is desperately chasing her for the second novel in her book deal. The first story was a huge success and they really want to start working on the creatives for the PR campaign. The only problem is that there is no book, that blank piece of paper confounds all her attempts to start it and the deadline is looming closer.

Feeling like someone is watching her Elle starts to wonder if it is all in her imagination or if there really is someone out there paying far too much attention to the cosy social media presence that Elle has created.

A spine chilling thriller that will keep you up all night desperate to work out who has discovered Elle’s secrets, the secrets that keep her awake at night. The secret that will change what everyone thinks of her.

I love sharing my favourite books with friends - nearly always spoiler-free as I hate reading a synopsis of the whole book in other reviews.
