If you’re trying to keep a New Years Resolution and make a change to your diet or you are really into the whole “Veganuary” scene this might be the book for you. The 28 Day Vegan Plan isn’t just a cookbook it’s the ultimate guide to making the jump and go Vegan. Hansen doesn’t just give you the recipes (100 of them) but helps you prepare your mindset for the journey you are taking.
As well as weekly shopping lists and cooking guides there are exercises that you can work through to help you evaluate what you are doing. It may be that you use the 28 days to press reset on your eating habits, or you can use it as a guide to going permanently vegan. Personally I already have a largely vegetarian diet but I’m not a fanatic about it and I do eat meat if I fancy it – very rarely. It’s always good to discover some new recipes though and the Black Bean Tacos look amazing.

I love sharing my favourite books with friends - nearly always spoiler-free as I hate reading a synopsis of the whole book in other reviews.
